Unable to find WebUIValidation.js following Framework update

Hi all,

This morning I allowed Windows Update to install an update to the .NET
framework on my Windows 2000 Pro machine. Since then the following IE dialog
box appears when browsing to a page with user validation code on it.

"Unable to find script library
'aspnet_client/system_web/1_0_3705_288/WebUIValidation.js'. Try placing this
file manually or, reinstall by running 'aspnet_regiss -c'"

I have attempted a repair of the framework with no joy. I haven't tried
placing manually or running aspnet_regiss as I don't know where I might find
the file or aspnet_regiss.

Can anyone advise?

The aspnet_regiis file is in the folder where the Framework is installed:

C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\

Your drive and windows folder name may vary.
